What you're doing is full projects, right off the bat. Try settling into things. Do a page of eyes, one of mouths, noses... different expressions and angles. Then take what you've trained yourself at, and apply it to full size pieces.

Don't do a full project until you are ready. If theres something that "you" feel you need improvement on, then work on that element by itself, and do a similar project applying your new found skills.

And fuck what other people say, your art is your art criticize it yourself.

i drew a whole A3 page of eyes today. stayed away from the colouring pencils untill the prismas arrive :D

lol, nice call. Prismas are a softer lead, so it may take a few tries to get used to em. If you dig through my journals on here, you'll find a drawing tutorial based on prismas.
